Dinner with the engaged couple (link to photos)

The two families had dinner together this evening. Everyone was there except Kifi, Shosh's sister, who is currently in Israel. I loaded some photographs to my webshots site, including a shot of "the ring!!" Not everyone made it into the photographs, but feel free to share.

ENGAGED!!!!!!

Last night, at approximately 11pm, my 21 year-old son, Eliezer, proposed to his long time (6 years +) girlfriend, Shoshana, and was accepted -- of course! Shosh is a wonderful girl, great for my son, and I love her like another daughter.

When she isn't being a junior at UMD, she sings with an acappela music group from there, and the group went on tour for spring break. Last night they were performing at Rutgers University. She knew Ez was coming to Rutgers for the last concert, a week without each other is a very long time. What she didn't know was that he planned to propose after they finished singing. I don't have all the details yet, hopefully there will be pictures, but the plan involved the ring (of course) flowers, and the group still being on stage. When he called to let us know that they were engaged, we could hardly hear them for the singing around them.

They should be back in Silver Spring at some point today. If there are any photographs, I will definitely post them!
