Sex Trade or Starve?!

In Germany, the legalization of the sex trade has created a situation where women are being forced into the sex trade by the government.... This is disgusting!

THEIR GOVERNMENT AT WORK
Women told, 'Work in brothel, or else'
German law forces out-of-work females to take sex jobs or lose unemployment

This is not true. I believe there is some gross mistranslation happening here.

The Standard ( http://diestandard.at/?url=/?id=1937498 ) has a more detailed article.

In the article, government officials are quoted as saying that unemployment benefits will not be revoked for refusing to accept a sex-services job.

They are also quoted as saying that even though the law no longer distinguishes the sex trade as being morally wrong for business and tax purposes, that they expect un/employment agencies to maintain moral standards.

The government recognizes not only the immediate moral implications, but the long term implications as well, e.g. why a former CEO couldn't take a job in the sex trade because it could prevent her from getting another job as CEO.

Yet another quote states that there is a demand by both by willing employers and willing prospective employees to use the unemployment system to find jobs in the sex trade. ( i think that's what it said. this one was difficult, and the google translation didn't work so well.)
